If your pet has any of the following symptoms, you should consider emergency services; it is not necessary to call ahead if you believe your pet is in crisis:
Unfortunately, we are unable to determine if your pet is in need of urgent care over the phone and therefore we must leave the decision up to you. It is impossible to determine an animal’s condition without seeing the animal first and all staff members are instructed not to give medical advice over the phone. If you feel your pet is in need of care, we recommend that you come in.
El Camino Veterinary Hospital is dedicated to providing emergency veterinary care for your pet 24-hours a day. Most patients will be seen in the order they arrive, however, patients in crisis will be given priority. Our focus is on emergency triage and stabilization, giving the long-term treatment plan of most cases back to the patient’s regular day-time veterinarian. Diagnostic lab-work and emergency surgeries will be performed if necessary to ensure the welfare of your pet.
Our staff will be prepared throughout your pet’s stay to update you on patient progress, as well as any changes being made in the patient’s treatment plan. We will fax copies of all medical records and will send copies of radiographs/laboratory tests with you when you transfer your pet back to your regular day practice veterinarian.
Emergency Exam Fees:
8 am - 6 pm $100.00

El Camino Veterinary Hospital does not offer payment plans, all payments are due when services are rendered. We do, however, accept most major credit cards, electronic checks and Care Credit.
